Demiboy

Disclaimer: People can experience identities in different ways. As such, people can identify with a label without exactly matching the definition because identities are fluid.

Demiboy (also called demiguy, demiman, demidude, or demimale) is a term used by people who experience partial connection to being a boy, man, or otherwise masculine. Some demiboys also identify as another gender, which can be any gender or combination of genders, including a lack of gender or being agender. Demiboy only refers to a person's gender, so demiboys can be any sexuality or romantic orientation. Demiboys can use any pronouns they like or no pronouns, since pronouns don't equate gender. Demiboys can present in any way they like; they do not have to present in a masculine or androgynous way to be a demiboy.

Being a demiboy does not necessarily mean that someone half identifies as a man. Some demiboys feel a strong connection with masculininty and/or being a man, while others only feel a vague association. A person can identify as a demiboy regardless of their assigned gender at birth (AGAB). A demiboy may or may not identify as transgender and/or nonbinary for various reasons.

There are no confirmed color meanings, but people assume that the colors have the following meanings:

• Grays: partial connection, gray areas
• Blue: masculinity, manhood
• White: agender and nonbinary identities
